I installed VFP8.0 Beta on another identical machine on the network and tried the test again and it worked fine.

Any idea what I should do to fix the main development machine that experiences the problem or how to prevent it in future?

Also do you have any thoughts on the C5 issue I reported in the trouble shooting section?
