I remember that it was a thread, few days ago, about DOS applications in XP, with CPU utilization up to 100% when running ( NTVDM.EXE process ). Seems that is an utility to run DOS applications under windows 2000 or XP. Sergey Berezniker posted this address: www.tamedos.com .
