unicode is not supported by VFP. This means that neither FairFrame can support this. We use the framework ourselves and in order to overcome this problem we use either richtext or Twinbridge. VFP does support rtf when using the 'normal' rtf-control-box. There is a demo for this in the vfp6 samples.
