Not at all. X# is a rumor -not confirmed by MS yet as far as I know- about a new programming language in the works. This is supossed to be a functional language, what means that it has control structures oriented to act over data (in this case, XML data).
The articles are based on speculation or non-official comments from different people. It sounds promising, but there's nothing we could expect a release for some time.
VFP 8.0 is promised to be released very soon.
