I have just returned from talking with a major medical software company that is interested in buying our small company. As we went through the product(s) we developed. They kept say, "You did all this in VFP?" They were amazed at what can be done. They write in C++ and use oracle for their primary backend. Our products are VFP a front-end with SQL on the backend. Besides just the easy to use UI design, the reporting capabilities killed them. All of our reports are designed using the VFP report writer. As much as we hate it that it hasn't grown over that last several version, these people was wowwed. "No Crystal?"
Anyway, VFP gets little positive, and sometimes in this forum it gets dogged, so I thought a little good news was in order.
