The textbox on form3 which SHOULD be the active form/control does not have any code. The command button on form 1 (which launches form3) does have code in it but shouldn't be active. I tried making form1 and the command button on form1 invisible, disabled, etc which did prevent the command button from doing anything, however it did not allow the textboxes on form3 to move the focus from field to field as they should.

I came up with a workaround for this so its not really an issue anymore. Though obviously there is something about focus and formsets I don't understand.

The workaround was to put code in the keypress method of form3 to intercept any [Return] key and to force a [Tab].
