it's not _findDialog, that class i have and it is for a search in a .dbf. the find dialog i am talking about is if you press ctrl+f in a code window or you add a menu option with _med_find.

i have tried to set the 'parent' form modless, but that does not help. i still can not get the 'wizard' to stay when i call it with .Show(2), even with a read events, i think because the second read events interferes with the first one.
