hmm I'm not sure, are FoxPro dbf different from Visual FoxPro dbf? I first tried using # for dates because I got used to it while with Access backends, but I kept getting errors until I tried using the braces, which I remembered when I was learning VFP... maybe it's ME who's missing something...?
>One use I know of is that curly braces are date wrappers when working with FoxPro date fields (thru VB)
Really? I've always just used #10/01/2002# format. In fact, i just tried to use {} against a VFP source and was not able to do so. What am I missing?
