Dana,
I looked at all the steps you suggested but I don't see the choice for User Defined in my properties. But reading your message and looking at it again, I think I know now why I have the problem. My printer drive is HP InkJet which probably (my guess) does not allow for custom paper sizes (since there is no easy way of feeding paper different than 8x11 into these printers). That's why I don't see it on my PC. I probably need to install the printer driver for the printer customer is using and hopefully I will see the User Defined size choices there.
Thank you very much for your help.
Dmitry

>With the report open in the designer, select from the main menu:
>File/Page Setup
>You will get the Page Setup dialog. In that dialog there should be a button for Print Setup... Click on that. You will see the printer setup dialog, with sections for Printer, Paper and Orientation. In the Printer section there should be a button for Properties. Click on that. When the next dialog comes up, that is where you look for the paper size settings. You may see several tabs, if so one should say Paper. If you find that, there should be a list of standard paper sizes, and usually at the bottom of the list there is a choice called User Defined (or User something) which will allow you to set the length and width of the paper. I am not guaranteeing that your printer driver has these options. Most probably do, but printer drivers are all different, and dot matrix printers are generally older so may not offer as many options for setup, but I do remember being able to do this with some older Epson dot printers.

>As for eject, if you have the paper size set up as discussed, ejecting should properly advance to the top of the next page. If you do not want it to advance, try the NOEJECT clause in the REPORT FORM command.
