Hi All

When a table contained in a dbc has a back link problem, a MS dialog opens asking if you want to find the owning dbc or delete the link. Three questions:
1) how to test for the back link condition before the dialog opens? and, 2) Can I programatically delete the link? 3) What does "vfp.20000081" refer to?

The application is a utility for administrative users who can copy all or only a portion of any table from anywhere for further processing. If the originating table is contained, then a tempdbc is created to preserve the long file names, etc. However, I need to hide the MS dialog if there is a backlink problem; which can occur when a USE command is issued.

I have tried to return an error number with ERROR() [always returns 0]
I have tried ON ERROR with a conditional KEYBOARD for ALT+D; after the ON ERROR condition is .T.
I have toggled VFP Help when the dialog opens and VFP Help returns "vfp.20000081". But I can not find any information about what this means?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
