Basically, what I want to do is to put mail into the Outlook or Outlook Express Outbox, leaving the actual transmission to the ISP mailserver to be taken care of later.

In Chapter 4 of MegaFox: 1002 Things You Wanted to Know About Extending VFP, we have classes, documentation, and sample forms that show you how to send and receive e-mail using MAPI, Outlook Automation, and CDO for Windows 2000.

If you need to send mail using Outlook Express, you cannot use automation.
