Thanks Jos, but in that case I find

create cursor dbftemp(groupname c(10),stuff c(254))
APPEND FROM "sched-b.txt" DELIMITED

works fine. What I'm looking for is a listbox control that I read about a while back where you could select the specific text file to populate with.
