I do plan on adding RTF in the future since I have had several requests for it. I realize the advantages of RTF are that you can then load the document into Word so you can edit it like they used to do at Enron. :-) The bad thing about reports in RTF is depending on the report layout it can be quite a mess to edit because of how the text has to be placed on the page. That is why I started with PDF since it can be WYSIWYG over multiple platforms much more so than RTF. The same thing holds true for the HTML output as well for formatting.
My current timeline is to get launch the Report Designer component before the end of March and then work on the RTF. However, it may come sooner than that depending on the number of requests for the RTF verses the Designer Tool. But, please keep sending me requests and comments.
