You can probably remove them from your diagram but they might get sucked back in.

Maybe a better idea is to put them into a different subject area that is out of the way.

>Yep. That's where they come from. It appears that when you create a diagram or begin a diagram, then cancel the wizard, they get created. Can I delete them from my sp file? I won't be using any diagrams.
