We run an FPD26 app on Windows 2000 and Windows XP at many locations. Not preferred of course, but it is entirely functional. The users are accustomed to pressing ALT-ENTER to switch to full screen or running in a window if they prefer it that way. The biggest hassle is ensuring all printers are mapped to LPT ports for FPD26 printing-other than that, the code runs fine with some memory tweaks (sometimes you have to create a special dos environment depending on your app).

>>I was responding to the idea that people were being "pushed" to use the newer versions and I visualized someone thinking they were "pushed" from VFP6 or VFP7 to VFP8. As far as being "pushed" to discontinue DOS, well, to me it's like leaving the "dark ages."

>Just out of curiousity, does anyone know if Fox 2.6 DOS runs on Win2K or WinXP? I don't use it, but the subject came up in a conversation recently, and I didn't know the answer.
