I am using vfp7.0 & XP. I am trying to open a cash drawer attached to LPT1 (parallel port).

Can someone help me with proper steps. I will appreciate. Under VFP 2.6 I can open this cah cash drawer with following code:

SET PRINTER TO LPT1
SET PRINT ON
? CHR(0)
SET PRINT OFF
SET PRINTER TO

or at the DOS prompt by typeing the following command:
ECHO > LPT1
