Well, it seems to me that an event must fire. There's just no method associated with it.
In the DataBase there's dbc_AfterModifyTable(cTableName,lChanged) which recognizes that the table has changed. If they can do it in the DB, then I believe they can do it in the Project.
I have come close with the ProjectHook.Activate(), but it's too buggy to work effectively.
