>i agree, fox has ALWAYS been great. i started learning programming on fox2.0 and bought my first version just when MS bought it and offered a free upgrade to Fox 2.5D and Fox 2.5W.

I started using dBase II in the old Z-80 days. I had to disassemble it once to make it work in a small LAN that we produced for MSX computers. dBase II made funny things as not really closing the file handle when you issued a USE command. It wasn't supossed that any other person could access the same table from a different machine! 8-))

>when i sad "(don't use it)", i ment that now i write everything in VFp6. because it is so powerfull, and has shud-up some of my friends, who always where telling me that fox is not a programming language.

Of course I don't use it daily anymore. Just once or twice a year... Indeed, I don't use VFP 6.0 that much neither.

>I hope V8 is comming soon because of the things i have heard about it - WOW, can't wait

It's pretty near, for sure, and it really rocks! Time to move from VFP 6!!! ;-)

Best luck,
