I have a VFP application (compiled to EXE) that I have running on Citrix/Terminal Server environment. My problem is that on only two screens out of a hundred other similar screens, the command buttons do not refresh correctly on the client login when BITMAP = OFF (preffered setting for Citrix environment). When BITMAP = ON then the screens refresh properly, but the rest of the app has noticeably slower screen refreshes.

More specifically, there are some Cancel and Save buttons that normally are hidden until the user clicks on Add or Edit. When BITMAP = OFF, the Add or Edit buttons remain displayed, but when you click where the Save or Cancel buttons are supposed to be, you can see the correct button appear and the appropriate action is taken.

So I feel this is somekind of Citrix refresh problem with VFP. I have gone through the code on these two screens and it is essentially no different from the other hundred or so screens (simply setting Visible to .T. or .F. depending on the situation). Does anyone have any similar experience? Does anyone have any suggestions to correct this?

Other than this little problem, I am very pleased with our implementation of a VFP app on Citrix server. We have had users dial in with as little as a 19K bps modem internet connection and have been able to run the app nearly as fast as running directly on our local network.
