>Right On! I've recently done maintenance on a FPD2.5 app that's now running on a Windows peer-to-peer network (mostly WinXP on laptops and Win98 on the server) and the multi-user features (file and record locking) work just fine. Its really amazing that a DOS product that's so old recognizes any drive (SET DEFA TO P:\) and network printers (SET PRINT TO \\OurServer\EpsonLX...) and never complains with syntax error. Those old FoxDOS programmers sure had things figured out!
A Windows 98 server!!! I'd rather trust in my old MSX Teacher (the name we gave to what's now called a server) thatn that. 8-)
Fox always rocked!
