Well I'm glad to hear that you have tests showing FLUSH only marginally slower. Mine, doing less than 2,000 writes in a half-hour, were way beyond sensible by any measure.

A funny game to bad-spend your time is to take your favorite poem/quote/song and enter in Altavista to translate it to -say- German, then take the German text and translate it back to English. Do it the same with different languages and you'll end with many funny variations!
