Correct. I've used SYS functions myself to create unique cursor names.
>I understand...the original post doesn't give all the info. But the most obvious places where you can name cursors are the CREATE CURSOR command, and SELECT ... INTO CURSOR. And if you don't want to wipe out another cursor in the same DS, you need a unique name.
