A few WAG's: Since copying it to the local drive didn't fix it, it probably isn't a network permissions issue (UNLESS they're running Win2K/XP and the admin has locked things down). If you copied the files from a CD-ROM drive, it will automatically flag all the files as read-only. Make sure you reset that. If it is a permission issue, make sure the permissions are applied to the application directory and ALL subdirectories. Win2K default is it inherit from it's parent directory, but it your case I would have them check all the directories to be sure.
