I am tracking this phenom also. I have looked at the debugger using a return value on error msg. in my code. I receive a -1; which indicates that the this.osession.signon() did not happen.

I am still trying to trouble shoot this.

When the regopen fuction is executed in WIN32api, the dll file that is used is the advapi32.dll. I found this by executing the "list dlls to c:\dll.txt command when stepping through the debugger.

I believe there is a pathing issue on some dll file, but can not narrow it down to date.
