if the computer name that the application is running on is called myserver and the folders are set up properly then there are no problems. from an administration point of view its better if the network is not peer to peer for more than 10 pc's but your application does not have to depend on this. just make sure that the pc names conform to what you need

Hmm... my application was written to access VFP native data from workstation. It USE \\myserver\data\mytable to open vfp table. Is it consider as peer-to-peer?

If I using win2k server to store my vfp database and allow other workstation to access it as mentioned as above, is it ok? Or any others suggestion?
