So, you have another control instead of the default Text1 in the pounds column, is that right?

Is so, then is the .CurrentControl property set properly? Was Text1 removed from the column?
Try to check in the debugger what exactly you have in the column at runtime.
You might also use another Dynamic... method for displaying column values, if you are playing with the controls in the column.
