Ken Levy spoke to ElZorro, the Phoenix FoxPro Users Group this week and said that VFP8 is near to RTM and may be released this week.
He also said it should be available from MSDN Downloads a couple of weeks after RTM, and should probably be available off the shelf mid-to-late March.
I'm sorry to say I don't know any more details - I got this second-hand from an ElZorro member.
