This depends on your network operating system. There are tools for Novell's netware that will give you this information. If you are using Microsoft NT I am sure there are tools there as well, but I don't know what they are. I suggest that you ask your network administrator for help in this.

If you want to programatically determine who has a file locked there are some utilities that will work with FoxPro but they depend on your underlying network system.
