Guess I can clearify the problem a bit.

I have made a "simple" app, consisting of 2 projects.

1) a form that "runs" in the notification area, it is a global keyboardhook that catches the keycombination "ctrl + F1".

2) a ActiveX component, that is able to find out what program is running (by reading the title of the front most window,.) and supply in unik id,..

Here is what happens,..

win2000/XP (NT platform i guess??)
The keyboardhook works as a charm, the ActiveX is working fine, both called from the app and from a web-page,.. yeye

Win95/98
The keyboardhook is not responing at all, dosn't even generate an error.
When I try activating the ActiveX (by clicking menu, on icon in notification-area) it generates the "Run-time error '21---' automation error" error.
When trying to instatiate the ActivX from a web-page i get "automation error, can't create object".

So, i guess there is some major difference between 95/98 and the NT based OS's. I knew that all along ofcourse, but didn't think it would be that bad
:(

Any help, info, links is MOST welcome, I havn't got a clue as to what to do now,. if you want to see the source code, just mail me for it(look in my profile)

well thanks
Krakke
