>>OK, then I think we can see where the confusion is coming from. Again, I don't know if this is because of the differences in the versions. My readme only mentions that you can't install on Windows NT Terminal Server Edition. Further, it doesn't specifically mention NT in what platform you can distribute. It does mention NT in the help proper.

Sergey,

I'm not trying to be argumenative here. I'm fully aware of the statement in the readme that you quote above. It's also in the help file.

However, if you do a search of the help file for "Windows NT", you'll get 23 (at least I did) hits, and most of these refer directly to how to install an 8.0 application on Windows NT. In fact, it even mentions that the version NT must be SP4 or later.

I'm not disputing the fact that the read me supercedes everything. I'm just saying that the omission of NT it in regards to distributed applications doesn't necessarily mean that it shouldn't be there, especially in view of what's in the help file. It could be simply an error of omission. Further, since support of NT4, was to be dropped at the end of this year, but has since changed to the end of next year, the omission may be by design because the decision regarding the length of support time was being made.

Bottom line is that I'd like to see (and I'm sure the rest of the community would also) something clear cut from Microsoft about this.
George
