Hi. I have a DataFormManager wich is based upon a CDE dataenvironment. I defined a remote view in the CDE. When I try to save a new record, it always says : "Server could not assign primary key". The table on SQL Server generates the ID. I looked in the code and found that the line "SELECT @@IDENTITY AS Pk" does return a null value instead of the actual ID. If I run a query in SQL Server, the new record is not there yet. If I open the Data Session window and "Browse" the remote view, then the new record appears in the query in SQL Server. So, if I make a "Browse" before I save, it will work.

What event does a "Browse" launch that makes a buffered remote view to get updated ?
