Hmm.. Recently I am facing problems of index corruption and data loss in my applications. Index would be corrupted and cause FATAL ERROR even thought that is no power failure, no system crash or.. Of course, I know that are alot of possibilities that cause corruption. I have post my problem in other thread, I get alot of reply that discuss about it.

As what I know, one of reason of corruption is vfp will not write the rec no header to table header immediately, and also fast transaction (1 record per 2-3 secs as mentioned by other member) may cause error.

Therefore, I would like to know that any enhancements in vfp8 that may minimize the corruption, return error if corruption happpened and of course recovery.

Hope you understand what I meant.
