Many of us here arrived at VFP via Dbase 2 and 3 and Clipper.
With a fresh start you will end up with a better app - but not much of your present code will end up in the new app. It is bigger than one thinks at first, but how lucky you are that VFP8 is just being released. You are in for a busy few months.
