Michael, can you trap the return value from the zipping operation line:
tRetVal = oWinZip.AddFiles( cDestination, "C:\Temp\MyFile.txt")
If so does this program come with a help reference with error message?
Also, I understand you have the files in the root but have you tried explicitly adding the paths to the file to be zipped? This sounds strange but I have found that DynaZip had these funnies too. You had to specify the complete path to the zip file itself and for the files to be added. Have you tried this?
If all else fails.....buy DynaZip :)
