Hi!
Maybe, complete cure would not be ever found, as you said. However, making life as better as possible is the main thing - make curing of cancer as best as possible. That is a realistic goal. Does it sounds good for you?
Also, there are many other things to discover. Find cure of other illnesses that yet have no cure. For example, stop ageing, that is, indeed, the worst and the most common "illness" that exists everywhere because evolution. There are already talks about this in the forums dedicated to cancer research projects.
>I really do not think that anyone would ever find a cure for cancer or if i were found that the medical profession would completely release it. Way too much money is involved. Think about it, if a cure for cancer was ever found, look at all the researchers that would be out of a job and the billions of dollars that wouldnt be given in research anymore. It is like the 100 mile per gallon car, the big 3 or the petrolium companies have the plans, but do you really think they are going to let that out?

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
