The wizard that creates the typed dataset for VFP will fail. You will need to manually create this. However, for SQL Server, the wizards work just fine and the creation of typed datasets work as well.

>Thanks for the clarification. It has been a few months since I've played with VS .NET, but if memory serves correctly, this limitation means you have to create typed datasets manually (with the XML designer) when using VFP data. Is that correct? If I have the same tables in SQL Server, could I use the wizard with the SQL Server data to speed things up?

>>The final release of the OLE DB provider does not work with the VS .NET wizards. When you drag and drop a VFP table, a wizard runs and causes the error. The problem is in the VS .NET product and not VFP. Hopefully, in a future release of VS .NET, the problem will be fixed.
