These work stations do include TCP/IP protocols. We have determined that the problem probably exists on the Sql Server Server itself. We have 2 Sql Server boxes and form the poor performing workstation, it is able to access data on the one box fairly quickly and extremely slowly on the other. We just installed Service Patch 4 of Sql Server 7 on the slow performing box.
It is a dual processor server.
