>>Good idea just hit me (mainly because I made a fool of myself just now -- again...). I saved a message, turned around & did something, spaced out & saved it again. Now there are tow copies. Is there a way to 'can' duplicate messages??? For my sake at least???

Yes, I noticed and removed the last one.

This is an interesting point. There's no logic way of determining if a message is already there or the only way will be to compare the entire content of the message with the entire table.

On CIS, there is no validation for that and sometimes, messages are posting twice.

I was thinking to allow people to remove of change a message they have created for a period of 10 minutes after the creation unless a member already posted a reply to it within that period. But, this is not safe, because while the member changes the message, another member might be doing a reply.

If someone has a good idea of the logic, please reply.
