Are you talking about those annying windows that started to happen since about two months? If yes, there is a service you may stop in your window to avoid that. See the Windows Messaging Service or related name like that. If it only happens when IE is launched then you will probably want to take a look at what is loaded in the task list to see if any suspicious program is loaded.
