What does the FLUSH command do and why is it important to explicitly write to disk?
I had this issue and hoped FLUSH would help. My app needed to to run a DOS EXE and then read the text file it generated. I used the RUN /N to hide the window, and my APP told me the file didn't exist. I tried FLUSH, researched timers and API messengers, etc - yet ended up removing the /N, and the file was there!
Ugly - but worked. I guess I am too primitive for the likes of FLUSH :-).
