It's an OLEDB provider for Microsoft Jet 4.0 . The typical connection string looks as follows:
lcMDBStr = 'Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Persist Security Info=False;Data Source=C:/Program Files/Microsoft Visual Studio/VB98/nwind.mdb'
