While I agree with you and Bonnie that it should be okay, keep in mind that Venelina (who posts many resolutions on a regular basis and is a valuable UT member) was reprimanded by many UT 'users' for what 'appeared' to be solicitation inside messages that were in response to technical questions. If he is allowed, then so is Venelina--only fair. Perhaps it should be allowed for everyone? My only concern is that users will respond with "I can do it for you for $..." instead of posting solutions that the developer can do themselves and hence learn.

>>>Well, pardon me for saying so, but it seems like a double-standard to me. When Kevin posts regarding MM.NET being available, or to 'advertise' his .NET training classes, then no one sees that as SPAM ... probably because Kevin is a respected guru in the VFP community. Why should we knock this guy simply because none of us have ever heard of him?

>>You assumed something here. If you talk with Kevin, you'll see that we did our job well for him as well.

>I agree with Bonnie and that is because we probably have the same informations based on what appeared to be a double standard. But the thing is that we don't know the deals that were made between you and Kevin or anyone else for that matter. So it's difficult to argue past that point
