I have been following your Posts on this problem. I thought you said on a previous message that the Data Files were stored on a Windows XP Pro "share". The terminology gets confusing but XP Pro is not a server. It is limited to 10 users, where a "Server" version of Windows is not limited. Have you changed to a "Server" version of Windows at this site ?
