Have you considered using web connect? There is an active message board you can get to on the West-Wind web site and there is a BOOK at Hentzenwerke (ISBN 1-930919-07-7) that you can get in electronic format while you wait for the physical book to be shipped. It sounds like your application might work well as Web Connect application.
