>>Just one last set of statistics and perceived importance if I may: I have red many books on the ?Battle of Britain?, and the bombing of London, etc. Much has been said on that topic. How much has been said about how many German civilians were killed by the RAF and U.S. Air Corp? Very little and it is not well reported. About 60,000 British civilians were killed in all of WWII due to German bombing of cities, and over 1 million German civilians were killed in return. We just watched another PBS special about the Battle of Britain, and as of this date I have not seen anything done about what we did to German and its people.

He says of that book and its theme something like: "The bombing of Dresden did not end the war one hour earlier. The only person in the whole world who benefitted from the bombing was me. I made two to three dollars for every person killed. God, what a business I'm in."
