We are a Home Care & Hospice agency where 60 - 80 nurses are in the field doing visits. Our concept for POS (Point of Service) is to minimize the amount of paper work. Presently Nurses pick up charts for daily visits, make additions and changes and then return them for data entry. If we could reduce the time in picking up charts, reduce data entry etc per visit, would be a big savings. Conservatively speaking, a savings of 30 minutes per visit would represent a huge cost savings when doing over 250,000 visits per year.






>do you mind if i ask what kind of POS environment it is? i am designing a pos system myself and am curious for pointers, as i am happy with it so far but there maybe something that i have not thought of. we were planning to use desktops and a crt, as it is a hardware store.
