The most expensive Tablet PC is $3500CAN (2,303.95 USD). Compaq has a model that is $2200CAN (1,448.30 USD). This isn't a huge burden.
Imagine the cost saving in development time and training time if one day you need to go portable or wireless. You are using the same code base.

The great thing about the TabletPC is that you can use the keyboard, the onscreen keyboard, or handwriting. Staff can do whatever is easiest for them.
