Fat client!!!!

I have enjoyed incredible success using VFP in this scenario. These are the "bread and butter" apps of the industry. Right now I'm supporting four such apps (3 all VFP and 1 VFP\SQL Server) without any problems in last 6.5 years. I don't know if it's me or VFP, but other contractors I know using PowerBuilder and Oracle just can't seem to get anywhere. They are failing miserably.

Now they are trying to phase out all independent apps and replace with ERP. Guess what, my apps are still there! They couldn't even come close to what I was doing with VFP and now they are saying it will cost $100,000K each to replace them.

Meeting requirements is all that matters. MS knows VFP is king of desktop, they just won't admit it!
