The practical application is that Im using a grid on a file maintenance form and want the user to be able to delete/recall records from within the grid.
Im going to play around with your idea of creating a view field on deleted().
Also found a message (Thread 675313, Message 675350) with a workaround for this problem but would like to find a better way.
