Switch her to coffee and see if that helps.
But seriously... I do know that Word2000 would immediately fail on me (this was Win2K Pro) if I had the default printer set to a network printer that was not available. It would start up normally and then sometimes hang right away and other times take just under a minute to do so.

I feel this is highly unlikely here but thought I'd mention it.

By the way, that divide by zero thing, if I remember, was a 'handled' sitaution in VFP internal code, not in user code.
